Early E-mail

When e-mail is needed prior to the employee's first day of employment, send the UW Tacoma Payroll Coordinator an email with the employee's name, social security number, start date, and title.

A personal access code (PAC) and employee ID number (EID) will be generated and e-mailed to the requestor along with instructions for the final steps to establishing early e-mail.

NOTE: If the employee is already in the payroll system, they would have an EID. The employee will need to go through an online process to establish their UW NetID and password and obtain email access: Get a UW NetID and Password . Learn more About UW NetIDs .
