Veterans and active duty military

New students

• Submit VONAPP online.
• Apply for benefits.
• Print copy of 22-1990 or 22-5490 for Chapter 35 dep.
• Complete UW Tacoma VA application.
• Fax, mail or drop off copy of DD214 Member 4 along with completed 22-1990/5490 and UW Tacoma VA application.

Please note: If you are a Chapter 33 recipient, you will also need to turn in a copy of your certificate of eligibility.

Transfer students

• Submit VONAPP online.
• Apply for transfer benefits.
• Print copy of 22-1995 or 22-5495 Chapter 35 dep.
• Complete UW Tacoma VA application.
• Fax, mail or drop off copy of DD214 Member 4

Please note: If you are a Chapter 33 recipient, you will also need to turn in a copy of your certificate of eligibility.
