Big Pink Volleyball

Main page content

Big Pink Volleyball, more commonly called "Big Pink," is volleyball with a play with a GIANT four-foot, bright pink ball! Created in 2002, Big Pink is a nation-wide philanthropic tournament that is hosted by over 50 different institutions and organizations. The event raises awareness about breast cancer and its impact on our society. Here at UW Tacoma, the tournament is hosted by the Center for Student Involvement.

Big Pink is easy to play! We use many of the same rules as regular volleyball, but with a few modifications. It can be a great team builder for student organizations and departments - or just a fun time for anyone who likes to have a good time! If you're interested in learning more, download the information packet at the link below. We hope that you'll consider registering a team today!

Our tournament is open to UW Tacoma students/faculty/staff and members of the YMCA.
