The Milgard School of Business hosts an annual etiquette dinner to prepare business students for successful work relationships and to become respectful, adaptive, and experienced communicators. In addition to getting versed in dining etiquette, students will learn the importance of good manners in a business-meal setting and why getting the details right makes a difference to an employer or a client. This year Milgard's new Success Center will be facilitating the event!

Cybrina Cooper, Talent Acquisition Specialist for Enterprise Holdings, Inc., will guide participants through a fun (yes, fun!) evening of dining etiquette.  You'll get useful tips, tricks to remember table setting placements, and first-hand experience eating difficult foods with grace. 

"Whether it's an interview over lunch or a job review in the boss's office, one's attention to detail makes an immediate impression," says Milgard Instructor Joe Lawless. "Teaching our students the finer points of dining etiquette equips them with one more tool to develop as socially responsible leaders."

MEAL CHOICES

  • Fresh Grilled King Salmon
    6 oz roasted w/ fresh herbs + lemon butter sauce
  • Chicken Piccata
    chicken breast pounded thin w/ capers + lemon thyme sauce
  • Grilled Tofu + Vegetable Skewers [vegan & gluten free]
    marinated + grilled vashon 'island springs' organic tofu, zucchini, yellow squash, red pepper, onion, thyme, oregano, olive oil w/ balsamic drizzle
