Summer Spanish Immersion Program - info session

All students interested in UWT's summer quarter Spanish Immersion Program in Cuernavaca, Mexico, are invited to an information session led by program leader Dr. Loly Alcaide Ramirez.

Immerse yourself in this intensive three or five week program and develop your Spanish language skills on a campus housed in a converted mansion with extensive grounds, beautiful gardens, terraces, and a swimming pool. The City of Eternal Spring is calling.

Other reasons why this program is good for you:

* 5 weeks = 12 credits (ten of TSPAN 199, 299, or 399 and two of TIAS 498) (Program dates: June 12 - July 16, 2011)
-----------or----------
* 3 weeks = 7 credits (five of TSPAN 199, 299, or 399 and two of TIAS 498) (Program dates: June 26 - July 16, 2011)

Global Honors students: this program would work as your capstone project.
Though study abroad is not a Global Honors requirement, there is an advantage - if you do a 2-credit capstone (& 10 - 15 page paper) abroad, you escape the 5-credit capstone (& 20 - 25 page thesis) on campus.
