Recognizing the importance and benefits of breastfeeding for student and working mothers, the University of Washington Tacoma campus provides lactation rooms across the university. The campus Lactation Station/Breastfeeding room is located in GWP 410 and MAT 204A. This room is for UW Tacoma faculty, staff, students, and guest use. The room is to be used on a drop-in basis. There is no need to schedule a time to use it, if the room is empty it is available for use.
All SAFC funded campus Lactation Station/Breastfeeding rooms have refrigerators for storage. In some cases, when all rooms are occupied we can help you to find a quiet/private space. Please contact us at email@example.com or 253-692-4901.

In addition there are electrical outlets on both adjacent walls for use.

For privacy, slide the notification sign to the “In Use” position. When leaving the space, please remember to move the sign back to the “Vacant” position to notify others that the room is available for use. No personal storage or cold storage is provided in the room and you should take any personal items with you. The room does not have any plumbing fixtures, however, restrooms are located on both the third and fourth floor.
