2009-2010 Center Research Fellows

    

For the 2009-2010 academic year, the Center has designated two of the Milgard School of Business faculty as our Center Research Fellows. 

These two distinguished scholars are advancing the mission of the Center through their research related to Corporate Social Responsibility in its broadest context.  We are proud to introduce the work of the Center for Leadership & Social Responsibility Research Fellows.

Altaf Merchant, PhD
Altaf Merchant PhD

Dr. Merchant received his PhD from Old Dominion University in 2008 and is an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the Milgard School of Business.  His recently published works include:

Dr. Merchant teaches Introduction to Marketing Management for undergrads and Marketing Management for MBA's.  His students have said that he is a great lecturer and very professional.  They appreciate that he "deviates from the text to show real world application of marketing principles."   He is a dedicated professional who cares about his students and is interested in advancing knowledge in his areas of research: nostalgia, charitable giving, fantasy in advertising for foods and time orientation.

Rommel (Bombie) Salvador, PhD

Dr. Salvador received his PhD from Central Florida University in 2008 and is an Assistant Professor of Management in the Milgard School of Business.  His recent published works include:
