Doctoral Student Conference Scholarship

If you are a doctoral student interested in being considered for a conference scholarship (includes conference registration and double occupancy hotel accommodations), please complete the following requirements:

  1. Complete the Conference Scholarship Application (below).
  2. Submit a 1- to 2-page letter explaining your research/dissertation and how it aligns with the topics of this academic conference.  Submit letter via email to clsr@uw.edu or fax to (253) 692-4523, Attention Joe Lawless.
  3. Provide a letter of support from your doctoral committee supervisor or faculty member sponsor from your academic institution.  Submit the letter via email to clsr@uw.edu or fax to (253) 692-4523, Attention Joe Lawless.

Applications and letters of interest will be accepted until Monday, June 17, 2013.

Please let us know which nights you require lodging.  The scholarship includes 2 nights' stay.  Additional nights will be at your own expense.  If you are from the Puget Sound area and would like a parking permit on campus in lieu of a hotel room, select that option.
