K-8 with Special Education Certification

The Master of Education Program with a K-8 teacher certification and special education endorsement features an introduction to teaching in all areas of the elementary, middle school, and special education curriculum. It also prepares students for non-curricular aspects of the teacher's role, reflection on contemporary issues in education, and offers frequent supervision during the learning process.

Advising

All students are required to meet with their adviser to create a program plan that fulfills the requirements for the certification and/or degree. It is the student's responsibility to meet and follow procedures as stipulated by the Education Program and the Graduate School.
