Janitoral Services Schedule

Events that require custodial support:

Events that utilize University classrooms, conference rooms, WPH, or any other spaces that include food should be scheduled for custodial services cleaning via the UUF site within the event UUF Form.  Advance notice is encouraged so building occupants and Facilities Services can make the necessary arrangements for these support services. If you prefer to self-clean, please add a note in the UUF and we will verify if it is allowable for that particular space. Please utilize the UUF form in requesting custodial support for event usage.

“Food” Definition –

Cleaning costs are based on “food use” within UW Tacoma spaces that will require removal/disposal prior to next assigned user in the space (including food containers, waste, debris on floors and/or surfaces, etc.) This will include boxed lunches, buffet style provisions, multiple refreshment containers, or anything that will impact the space. Food may not be left overnight within campus spaces. Minimal waste or cleaning that does not impact the continual use of the space does not require specific event cleaning (single beverages and or small pre-packaged snacks – please specify).
