Need a distraction from teaching, meetings and noise? The Faculty Resource Center (FRC) is the place to go if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing space to think.

We provide fast wireless, energy bars and lots of caffeine!

See you in the FRC!

Welcome to the Faculty Resource Center Website!

This site is a virtual extension of the people, resources and ideas you'll find at our physical site on the UW Tacoma campus at Walsh Gardner 208. Created to bring together the research, teaching, technology and faculty development services at UW Tacoma, the Faculty Resource Center (FRC) is much more than people, workshops and a welcoming space on campus.

The FRC is an idea that focuses on collaboration, exploration, conversations, and just-in-time answers and solutions when you need them.conversation It's a place to stop in for a cup of tea and a thoughtful ear. A place to discuss your research proposals or your course. A place to explore technology, to find collaborators and colleagues across the disciplines, and to fill up your pail with new ideas, emerging technologies, and promising practices.  Stop into the Center. Meet with the Center's idea team. Attend one of the forums. Bring a few colleagues for a facilitated discussion. Get help accessing our electronic resources and research collaboration support tools. Grow. Stretch. Breathe. Think deeply. Learn. At the UW Tacoma Faculty Resource Center, the possibilities are endless.
