When snow or other dangerous conditions strike, campus leaders will decide by 6 a.m. whether to cancel classes and other campus activities, or operate on a delayed schedule.
If the campus schedule is delayed, classes and offices will generally resume operations at 10:30 a.m. or noon.
If a storm strikes during the day, classes may end early, with an announcement generally made by 2 p.m.
Check your e-mail and the UW Tacoma website to see if campus operations are closed or delayed. If no alert messages are posted, assume campus is operating normally.
