What is Blackboard?

UW Tacoma uses Blackboard as its course management system. Blackboard offers a variety of tools to deliver course material and facilitate communication among students and between the instructor and students. It can be used for fully on-line distance course delivery, or to support regular course delivery (hybrid courses). It allows students to stay connected and have access to course materials from any location via an internet connection.
