The computers have voice recognition software, zoom text for visually impaired access, a scanner and software used to scan documents and books, which in turn are read to the student by the computer. A non-computer device that enlarges pages on a viewer is also available in these areas.

Kiosks

Computer kiosks are located throughout the administrative buildings. There are two types of kiosks: standup email and internet-access kiosks and full-station, including printing, kiosks. The standup email and internet kiosks are located in the following areas:

  • entrance hallway to GWP
  • atrium of GWP
  • atrium of WCG
  • student lounge area
  • 1st and 2nd floors of Dougan
  • 1st and 2nd floors of the Mattress Factory
  • 2nd and 3rd floors of Cherry Parkes

The full-station kiosks are located in the WCG atrium and the student lounge area. These four computers have email and internet access plus Microsoft Office. Both have high-speed laser printers. Paper must be furnished by the student.

The kiosks are reserved for students. Please limit your use to 10 minutes.
