Catalyst web tools
While the Catalyst Web Tools are developed and supported by UW Seattle, we do have an on-campus Catalyst administrator to assist you in learning how to use the tools. If you have any questions about Catalyst or encounter any issues that you need to resolved, please send an email to athelp@uw.edu and we will do our best to assist you.

Microsoft IT Academy at the UW: Free training for UW students, faculty, and staff
Students, faculty, and staff can access extensive, free Microsoft IT Academy online courses and learning resources. Hundreds of video-based courses are available through October 2012. Completion of the training could enhance student employability as well as increase staff efficiency on applications such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Windows 7. Microsoft IT Academy at the UW provides courses in digital literacy (for basic computer skills) and e-learning (for advanced learning including certifications).
Free online Microsoft training for Washington residents
Online training on Microsoft software is free to Washington residents through a state WorkSource career development program with Microsoft. More than 1,000 courses are provided, including technical training for IT professionals (with certifications available) and digital literacy for computer beginners. Learning & scholarly technologies workshops (UW Seattle)
Most UW Seattle-IT workshops are walk-in sessions, designed and taught by student instructors. These workshops have a fun, causal atmosphere. To attend, you will need a UW NetID and Husky card. Registration is optional. However, if a workshop fills, seating preference will be given to registered participants.

UW Tacoma IT can customize its workshop offerings to fit the needs and schedule of your class or department. We can arrange mini-workshops in a variety of areas. Availability of workshops depends greatly on our staffing and workload demands, so please put in your requests for assistance early!
