Curriculum
Core courses
The ITS program admits students in a cohort for autumn quarter only. All core courses must be completed before advancing to the next academic level. All courses within the major must be completed with a minimum grade of 2.0
Students admitted to the Information Technology and Systems degree program must first complete 40 credits of required core course work that includes the following:
- TINFO 300 Programming II
- TINFO 310 Foundations of Information Management
- TINFO 320 Hardware and Software Systems
- TINFO 330 Web Design and Programming
- TINFO 340 Information Assurance
- TINFO 350 Information Networking
- TINFO 360 Information Systems Analysis and Design
- TINFO 370 Business for Information Professionals ( Currently TINFO 490 Special Topics in ITS)
Senior Elective Courses
Students must complete 6 of the following senior elective courses. These courses can only be taken after all of the above courses have been completed.
- TINFO 420 System Administration
- TINFO 431 Server Side Web Applications
- TINFO 441 Network Security
- TINFO 442 Computer Security
- TINFO 445 Digital Forensics
- TINFO 451 Routing and Switching
- TINFO 453 Wireless Networking
Senior Required Courses
Students must complete the following 10 credits of required senior coursework
