Academics
Environmental Sciences and Studies offers the opportunity to earn either a B.A. in Environmental Studies or a B.S. in Environmental Science. Additionally, we offer an Environmental Studies minor, a Geographic Information Systems certificate (co-administered by Urban Studies) and a minor or certificate in Restoration Ecology.
UW Tacoma provides small class sizes and close interactions. Our faculty provide students with the unique opportunity for research at the undergraduate level. As a UW Tacoma student, you can access the same great technologies offered by the main campus without the commute. Here are just a few examples:
