Former Student Assistant in the Office of International Programs, Indira graduated with a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics and a minor in Human Rights. During her time in our office, she worked to let everybody know how important studying abroad is for all students; she believes it helps them gain a new perspective, opening up a new world of possibilities beyond our borders. The summer of 2012, Indira returned from a study abroad program to Brazil - she loved it. Indira learned Portuguese, did a research project about immigration and learned how to samba. She plans to go back to Brazil in the future to visit the Brazilean friends she left behind. Her dream job is to become a U.S. Diplomat and an immigration attorney. Indira is adventurous, enjoys the outdoors and the big cities, but more than anything, she loves exploring new cultures and creating new friends. She believes that every college student should participate in study abroad program at least once during their college years.
