Summer Jazz Improvisation Workshops

Four Day Workshop Join L.A. jazz improvisation specialist, Eric Patterson in a four-day jazz workshop designed for middle and high school musicians who have at least 2-3 years playing experience and want to learn or improve their jazz improv skills for solo work. Class ends with an improv jazz jam session in a local downtown venue where you can show off your new skills to your friends and family. (PDF Flyer)

Conflict Resolution for Educators

Learn basic conflict resolution concepts and skills that can be pragmatically applied on a daily basis. Conflict resolution skills and concepts are universal and can be applied to most interpersonal conflicts in a wide range of situations. Lean Six Sigma is a business and data-driven, disciplined approach to reducing waste and minimizing defects in any type of process (be it manufacturing or services).  Lean Six Sigma focuses on reduction of waste, increased profitability, and customer satisfaction. It is a method of integrated management used by organizations to more effectively and efficiently meet the needs of their customers and other interested parties. Nonprofit Management

The Nonprofit Management Certificate is designed for nonprofit managers, volunteers and board members; professionals who seek careers in the nonprofit sector; individuals in private or government industries who wish to explore careers in the nonprofit sector; consultants who work with or want to expand their knowledge of the nonprofit sector.  This program allows open enrollment in individual courses.

Is there funding for professional development classes?
