In support of the University's mission and in response to employer, student, and community demand, the Higher Education Coordinating Board has approved the Master of Accounting degree program to be offered by the Milgard School of Business starting Autumn 2012.

The Milgard School of Business Master of Accounting (MAcc) program is a 45-quarter credit professional program designed for students that desire to develop critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills, as well as the ability to research complex accounting-related issues and apply findings. Its innovative features include international accounting, social reporting, and forensic accounting. The program provides the fifth-year of higher education required for the State of Washington CPA exam.
