A Rigorous, Relevant Curriculum
Enabling business professionals to adapt to the evolving realities of the global marketplace, the Milgard School’s MBA curriculum provides a solid foundation, rooted in business fundamentals identified by regional business leaders.
The curriculum develops graduates who can:
- Develop and articulate the organization's strategic direction
- Manage people, information, and processes to accomplish organizational goals and objectives
- Understand organizations as complex, interdependent systems operating in an ever-changing and uncertain environment
- Demonstrate an understanding of the social, political, economic, ethical, and environmental context of the organization
- Analyze and diagnose complex organizational problems, design effective solutions, and implement change

**Students may take up to 8 credits of electives outside the Milgard MBA program. This includes MBA courses as Global Study Tours through the Foster School of Business at UW Seattle; MBA courses from UW Bothell; courses from other graduate programs at UWT; or other graduate level courses in a student’s field of interest with MBA program approval.

Classes meet primarily on weekday evenings, Monday through Thursday. September classes, meeting in a compressed format before Autumn quarter begins, require 2-3 full weekdays and Saturdays. Summer classes meet weekday evenings and Saturdays. You may download the 2011-2012 Class Schedule here.
