Having course materials online is helpful for both preparedness and for student accessibility. The following list contains ways you can share various types of course materials with your students online. Canvas is the course management system at UW Tacoma. Instructors can use this tool as a central place to post course materials, resources, and links as well as provide a number of online classroom activities. You can use Canvas to turn in assignments online, to grade online, and to create online student groups.
Catalyst Web Tools provides a collection of tools that can be used to enhance face-to-face courses. There is an assignment dropbox, discussion board and file sharing. You use your NetID to gain access to these tools.
Lecture Capture is for use by faculty to create lectures that can be remotely accessed. It can also be used to share other audio and video materials with students online.
