How to Order UW Transcripts

There are three ways to order your official UW Transcript:

Ordering online through MyUW for a hard copy or electronic delivery

Currently registered students may order official transcripts online through the "Grades" box found in the "Academics" tab in MyUW.  Transcripts are now available in hard copy for mailing or pick-up at the Seattle Campus or they may be sent electronically to some schools (see the section below about getting an e-transcript delivery option). 

Transcripts at UW Seattle are processed each business night (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays). Transcripts ordered on a Friday or over the weekend will be processed the next working day.

If you are a current student, a $9 per copy transcript fee is added to your student account. You may remit payment online at no extra cost via MyUW by clicking on the "Tuition Charge Statement" and selecting the "Web Check" option.

Online transcript orders are processed by the UW Seattle Transcript Office and they can be reached at 206-543-8580 with questions.

Ordering online through MyUW for Electronic transcript (e-transcript) delivery

The University of Washington now offers an official e-transcript. The content of the official transcript is converted into a PDF document and delivered to the recipient via eSCRIP-SAFE®, the authorized delivery agent selected by the University of Washington.

Ordering in person or by mail

Please complete and submit the Transcript Order Form with payment of the $9 per copy fee in one of the following ways:

  1. By mail to the Cashier's Office.
  2. Via the drop box located on the first floor of the Dougan building (across from Room 176).
  3. In person at the Cashier's Office window (CAR 400)

Same-day pick-up 

Same-day service for transcript requests is available for an additional $15 charge ($24 total charge), but requires in-person pick-up.

  1. Complete the form and take it to the Cashier's Office (Carlton 400) to pay the fee.
  2. After payment is made, take the transcript order form across campus to the Office of the Registrar (MAT 253) to complete the request at least one hour before closing to allow sufficient time for processing.

 

Please note:

  • Transcript requests cannot be processed for students who have an outstanding financial obligation to the university.

  • Please allow at least 3 - 5 business days to process requests made by form through mail or in-person (except for expedited same-day transactions).

  • Check your unofficial transcript on MyUW before ordering to verify that grades and/or your degree have posted.
