There are enhanced reporting requirements for students approved for a 24-month STEM OPT extension.

STEM OPT recipients must make a "validation report" to your International Student Advisor every six months starting from the date the 24month extension begins and ending when the student's F-1 status ends, the student changes educational levels at the same school, the student transfers to another school, or the 24-month OPT extension ends, whichever is first. ISS is not going to remind you to report.

If your address and employment information did not change at all since last time you updated ISS, please fill out this form to simply report your continuous participation to OPT. You need to have your most recent I-20 ready to fill out this form!

If your address information have changed, please submit Address Update Request During Post Completion and STEM Extension OPT.

If your employment information have changed, please submit: Employment Info Update Request during Post Completion and STEM Extension OPT.

Please note that if you have any hold on your student account, we may not be able to assist you until all holds are removed.

We will be in touch with you by sending emails to your UWT email account. Graduated students will have access to your UWT email account for the rest of your life. Please be sure to check your UWT email account regulary!
