Space Scheduling

Main page content

SYSTEM TRANSITION UW Tacoma is currently in the midst of a scheduling system transition. We are moving from the UUF System to 25Live, a web-based scheduling system that is being used by all three University of Washington campuses. This process is multi-year and will be released in various stages.

Scheduling space at UW Tacoma is done online through a reservation request system. Requests are governed by processes set by the Use of University Facilities (UUF) Committee, University of Washington UUF policies and state law. There are options to schedule space for meetings and events. Most spaces require a space scheduler to approve use of the space, but there are several self-reservable spaces as well. Please review the important information below to learn more about scheduling space on campus.

What is 25Live?

25Live is CollegeNet's web-based scheduling product that the University of Washinigton is implementing on all three campuses.  At UW Tacoma, 25LIve will be an upgrade to the current space scheduling software, R25, and will eventually replace the Use of University Facilities (UUF) system that used to capture space and event support requests.

Benefits of 25Live

  • TRANSPARENCY - provides viewing access to room schedules; displays event costs to requestors at time of submission
  • EFFICIENCY - eliminates duplicated work and the need for multiple independent systems; streamlines processes for departments involved with space and resource scheduling; allows self-service conference room scheduling; creates potential energy savings for campus
  • ACCESSIBILITY - web-based; mobile-friendly
