Job Opportunities

The writing center is accepting applications for writing consultants to begin working in Autumn 2018! We are always accepting applications for quantitative tutors. If you are ready to learn and grow through working at the Teaching & Learning Center as either a consultant in writing, math, science, or computer science, or a receptionist, we'd like to hear from you.

Access to Services

The Teaching and Learning Center offers its services to all UW students, with priority given to currently enrolled UW Tacoma students. Students who use the TLC facilities and services are expected to follow the UW's Student Conduct Code. TLC staff may ask users to leave if they create conditions that impede the work of students or staff.

We offer workshops in learning strategies, writing and quantitative studies each quarter. Workshops are free to current students. All workshops are taught by TLC staff and no registration is necessary. Workshops are held in Snoqualmie 239 unless otherwise noted.

Workshop offerings differ by quarter. Please see our schedule for upcoming workshops.
