The taskforce is chaired by Laura Mochinski and works to develop activities for staff designed to encourage personal and professional growth.
The UWT Staff Association Professional Development Taskforce is soliciting feedback from Staff, Professional Staff, and Librarians across campus to create opportunities for training/courses that potentially could be offered at UW Tacoma. Tuition exemption
All UW employees are eligible to take classes at the University through the tuition-exemption program. You pay the fees and earn the credit, but do not have to pay tuition. Not all courses are eligible for tuition exemption and you should discuss your plans with your supervisor before registering.
