Welcome to UW Tacoma Payroll! This is a central payroll resource for UWT employees, giving access to payroll forms, instructions, procedures, and sites pertaining to UWT policies.

Payroll News and Updates
The University’s 32 year-old legacy payroll system will be replaced with a modern, integrated Human Resources and Payroll system, significantly improving support for critical HR and payroll work across the University. The estimated date for going “live” with this new system is January, 2016.
Workday was chosen as the official vendor for the new HR/Payroll system. The University is currently in the design phase of the project, which will run through October 2014. The next phases will be configuring business processes, testing, pre-deployment activities such as campus forums and trainings, then to go “live” with the new system January, 2016.

Online Timesheet for Hourly Employees
All hourly employees must complete and submit their timesheet, each pay period, using the online timesheet system.
Paychecks and Direct Deposit
Direct Deposit is encouraged at the UW. This can be done online through your MyUW, Employee Self Service. If you did not elect direct deposit for your UW paycheck, please pick up your paycheck at the front desk of the Finance Office located in the Carlton building, fourth floor, suite 400. We are no longer mailing paychecks to home addresses.
