Student clubs and organizations

The student clubs and organizations at UW Tacoma is a reflection of the diversity of thought, experience and background of our students. Special interest clubs cover everything from political engagement, religious faith, ethnic and cultural pride to environmental protection, sports and recreation.

There is also a student newspaper, The Ledger, and a literary arts publication, Tahoma West.

When our students talk about service at UW Tacoma, they think both local and international. Students groups have helped feed the homeless in Tacoma, build homes in the Northwest with Habitat for Humanity and raise money for disaster relief in Haiti and Japan. You can also earn scholarship money while helping the community through the Center for Service and Leadership.

Check out the Office of Student Engagement and a full list of clubs and organizations. Or think about starting your own!
