This form is a resource for Milgard School of Business staff and faculty to request updates to the Milgard website and its relevant Centers (Milgard Success Center, Center for Business Analytics, Center for Leadership and Social Responsibility). It also serves as a request form for photography/videography and/or content creation, editing, etc. from Milgard's communication specialist.

Requests are reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, requests are also completed by school priority. We operate on an academic schedule, 8:30-5pm, M-F, excluding weekends and university holidays.

Any changes outside of these sections should be sent to uwtweb@uw.edu Track engagement and statistics through Google analytics, attend vital DRUPAL Q&As and UW reports regarding the website. Optimize webpages for SEO (search engine optimization) and to be mobile-friendly. Use Google My Business to improve MSB presence in search engines. HTML & CSS are used to update and create pages. Upload photos and videos to the website. Make archives of old pages both on the server and on the web and ensure vital content is saved.

Major design changes (anything aside from text editing and photo replacement, removal, or addition) may be quite laborious and take two weeks at minimum. Expect a one-week turnaround time for basic text and photo updates.

SOCIAL MEDIA: 
Update and grow the Milgard Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn, and future social networks. Respond to direct messages, mediate comments, create Facebook events. run paid promotions, and detailed targeted ads. Follow UW brand guidelines and build brand identity for the Milgard School. We only accept requests for the Milgard School of Business (@MilgardUWT) Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
EVENT OR PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY / VIDEOGRAPHY:
 Evening, weekend, or special events must be of importance to the digital presence of the Milgard School of Business and approved by administration. If your request involves creation of a video, please expect a one-month turnaround time and prior approval by administration. Video editing is time intensive and delays occur.

This also includes photos of staff and faculty (headshots). Headshots for students seeking to enhance their professional portfolio. Primarily photography is for the purpose of enhancing the digital presence of MSB (website, social media, marketing).
GRAPHIC ART / PRINT DESIGN: 
Let us know as soon as you're aware of the activity, event, or news/information. Expect a two week turnaround at minimum, based on the complexity of design. Items outside of event promotion or business-school-related content creation may be declined or referred as we work closely with the university (campus-wide) graphic designer. Posters for event marketing locally on campus, email or social media marketing graphics, campus TV ads, and more. Assist faculty with PowerPoints and/or Word documents in need of design/media that is vital for MSB meetings and decisions with stakeholders.
