Degree Programs
Master of Science in Business Analytics
This 12-month master program (from June to June) offers work compatible schedule with hybrid courses (40% in-person + 60% asynchronous eLearning). Classes are held biweekly on Saturdays. MSBA offers extensive knowledge of Business Analytics and work-based learning with an Industry Applied Project.

Minor in Business Data Analytics
The minor in Business Data Analytics is designed for undergraduate students in any major at UW Tacoma to understand how to interpret and analyze data. This minor requires 25 credits including 15 credits from three required courses and 10 credits of electives from the approved elective list.

Foundations for Data Analytics
In this program, students choose and complete any 12 of the courses that we offer in the program within 24 months. Students select courses that meet their specific learning goals, allowing for maximum flexibility and customization. Upon completion of these courses, students will be issued a Certificate in Foundations for Data Analytics.

This specialization designed for students who would like to gain extensive knowledge of R through beginner level R1-R2 and intermediate level R3-R4 modules. Each module covers 3 hours face-to-face learning along with the complementing online learning materials. Students who complete Beginner R1-R2 and Intermediate R3-R4 earn "Beginner R" and "Intermediate R" badges issued by CBA.

Business/Data Analytics Degree Preparation
This specialization is intended for individuals who are planning to start their academic education journey in business analytics or data analytics. Students will learn the foundational knowledge needed to succeed and to have a good experience in any graduate and undergraduate business/data analytics degree program. This Certificate Program meets all of the pre-requisites necessary to be prepared for the UW Tacoma MSBA program. Upon completion of these courses, students will be issued a Certificate in Business/Data Analytics Degree Preparation.

No programming experience is required to start in this program. Students will start at the Beginner level in R and Python, followed by Intermediate level R and Python thereafter. Upon completion of these courses, students will be issued a Certificate in Introduction to Programming for Data Analytics.
