Now Hiring for Field Supervisor/Teaching Associates

Priority Application Review Date: Friday, May 29, 2020

The UW Tacoma School of Education (SOE) is seeking Field Supervisors/Teaching Associates (hereinafter referred to as Field Supervisors) for our Teacher Certification Program (TCP) in the 2020-2021 academic year. We are specifically seeking field supervisors in the following areas: (a) Secondary Mathematics or Science Education, and (b) Special Education. 2020 Commencement and Master of Education (M.Ed.) Hooding Ceremony


Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Washington Tacoma will offer Class of 2020 graduating students two opportunities to celebrate.

On June 13, 2020, the UW will host a special online, interactive Commencement. This dynamic and personalized experience will be the first time that graduates of all three of our campuses will celebrate commencement together. Details about this ceremony are still being developed and more information will be available soon. We will also welcome any 2020 graduates to participate in the June 2021 in-person ceremony. Master of Education (M.Ed) Hooding Ceremony

On June 11, 2020, at 4:30pm, the School of Education will host a virtual Hooding ceremony.

The ceremony will stream on YouTube: School of Education Hooding Link will open on June 11th @ 4:30pm

We will also welcome any 2020 graduates to participate in the June 2021 in-person ceremony.
