The Office of Equity and Inclusion provides learning opportunities, resources and consultations to promote equity-minded instruction, culturally responsive and sustaining pedagogies and anti-bias classroom environments. In collaboration with the Office of Academic Affairs and UWT faculty we offer signature programs like the SEED Teaching Institute, "Strengthening Educational Excellence through Diversity," and related activities throughout the academic year to support your professional development goals. Whether you are new to teaching at UWT or you would like to deepen your understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion, you can engage in introductory to advanced programming. Trainings are organized around key principles and evidence-based research that demonstrate how anti-racist and inclusive approaches are central to student retention, academic success and a sense of belonging.
