Overnight Parking Permits at WT 32 - Whitney
A newly introduced permit option where students, staff, faculty, and all local community members that live in the region, can purchase an overnight parking permit!
Starting at $80 dollars per month ($240 per quarter) and valid from 7pm to 8:30am 7 days a week, permit holders may park in the Whitney lot. With the spring up of new apartment complexes that don't have readily available access other than on-street parking, we hope to fill that gap. Follow the steps below to get started!
Student Residents at Court 17 must reserve a permit through Housing and Residential Life.
Overnight permits must be renewed on a first come, first served basis every quarter following the same process. These do not follow the exact days of the school year's academic quarters but are close to it. The valid dates for Overnight Permits are as follows:
Winter Quarter | Spring Quarter | Summer Quarter | Autumn Quarter |
---|---|---|---|
January 1st - March 31st | April 1st - June 30th | July 1st - September 30th | October 1st - December 31st |
If you are a student, staff, or faculty that have already purchased a daytime permit and are unable to purchase an overnight permit, send us an email or give us a call so that we can manually add it to your account and have you pay.
Making your Parking Portal Account

Step 2. Once logged in, select the "VEHICLES" tab in the top left/middle then add your vehicles (note only one vehicle can be parked at a time with your permit).
Step 3. Verify your information then proceed to step four.
Get Access to Overnight Parking
Now that your account is created, you will need to reach out to us at transit@uw.edu so that we can give you access to purchasing the permit inside the parking portal!
Step 4. Click the link below and send us an email with "Overnight Parking" in your Subject Line.
Step 5. In the message, be sure to include your full name, email, and let us know where you're coming from! We will update you once your account has been given access to the permit.
Step 6. Log into the Parking Portal, go to "Get Permits" in the bottom right quadrant, click "Next", then select the Whitney Overnight parking permit that is now available!
Note: Pricing is prorated from the beginning of the quarter - meaning if you move in nearby mid-quarter, you can still grab a permit for a reduced price!
