Each quarter our office hosts a series of workshops that are designed to encourage academic and personal progress; foster the development of problem-solving skills and teach self-advocacy and personal responsibility.
These workshops are organized in collaboration with various units on campus like the Office of Global Affairs, University Academic Advising, Career Development & Education, Office of Student Financial Aid, Teaching and Learning Center, and the Counseling and Psychological Services.

Do you stress out during the tax season? Come to this session for a general overview of the tax filing process and the forms that may be required to file your 2021 taxes. Note: As we are not tax professionals, we will only be able to answer generalized questions about the tax filing process.

It’s that time of year again! Spend some time with us to learn how to navigate the virtual career fairs: how to talk to employers, how to research which companies will be in attendance, what to prepare, how to make the most of your connections, and how to follow up.

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn: what fellowships are, how to find the right opportunity for you, and how to apply for fellowships.
