Husky Alumni Event in Hong Kong

Chancellor Mark A. Pagano and Cindy Schaarschmidt, Director of Student Fellowships and Study Abroad, met with UW alumni in Hong Kong.

UW Tacoma hosted its first ever alumni reception abroad on May 8, 2017: Chancellor Mark Pagano met with Husky friends and alumni in Hong Kong and gave an inside look at how UW Tacoma has created community partnerships and positioned itself as an urban-serving campus.

Huskies at Hong Kong Alumni EventAlmost 40 guests attended the event at the China Club in Hong Kong, and three of them were recent alumni from UW Tacoma:

- Ursula Cheung (Urban Studies, BA’ 14)

- Anthony Tam (Business Administration, BA ’16)

- Yin Tung Chow (Psychology, BA’ 14)
