Gilman Scholarship Awarded

Psychology student Aimee Huynh (BA ’16) is the recipient of a Spring 2015 Gilman Scholarship to Japan. She will be participating in the Osaka University Short-term Student Exchange Program for one semester. Aimee is excited to experience Japanese culture, study the language, try new foods and learn in a new country.

Sponsored by the Department of State, the Gilman is a merit-based study abroad scholarship for Pell grant recipients. In 2014, Christine Brubaker-Holland (Healthcare Leadership) and Tiffany Fox (Global Studies) received the Gilman Scholarship to China.
