7-Zip is a file archiver with a high compression ratio. You can use 7-Zip on any computer. 7-Zip works for Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2008, 2003, 2000, NT, ME, and 98.



Is a GUI which allows users to launch programs like Jupyter in the Anaconda Cloud.


    Adobe Acrobat DC

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC software is a free software for viewing, printing, signing, and annotating PDFs. It can open and interact with all types of PDF content – including forms and multimedia and connects to Adobe Document Cloud.


    Adobe Acrobat 2017 (pro)

Adobe Acrobat X Pro allows user to, in addition to the features of Acrobat Reader DC, create PDFs, edit PDFs, and add interactivity to PDFs.     Adobe Digital Editions

Adobe Digital Editions can be used to read eBooks you download from library websites or popular booksellers. It may be used in high-contrast mode or with popular screen readers. More information on how to use the application is provided in the Getting Started eBook included in the application.


    ArcGIS 10.6.1

ArcGIS is a geographic information system (GIS) for working with maps and geographic information. It is used for creating and using maps, compiling geographic data, analyzing mapped information, sharing and discovering geographic information, using maps and geographic information in a range of applications, and managing geographic information in a database. The system provides an infrastructure for making maps and geographic information available throughout an organization, across a community, and openly on the Web. ArcGIS includes the following Windows desktop software: ArcReader, which allows one to view and query maps created with the other ArcGIS products; ArcGIS for Desktop, which allows one to view spatial data, create layered maps, and perform basic spatial analysis, more advanced tools for manipulation of shapefiles and geodatabases, and capabilities for data manipulation, editing, and analysis.

    Arc Pro

ArcGIS Pro is included with ArcGIS Desktop, as a complete suite for desktop GIS that you can use to create maps, perform spatial analysis, and manage data. ArcGIS Pro is a, 64-bit project-centric application with a contextual interface. It's built to work with ArcGIS Online, Esri's cloud-based mapping product, and ArcGIS Enterprise, Esri’s Web GIS mapping platform for your infrastructure.


Atom is a free and open-source text and source code editor for macOS, Linux, and Microsoft Windows with support for plug-ins written in Node.js, and embedded Git Control, developed by GitHub.



Blender is an open source 3D creation suite. It supports the entirety of the 3D pipeline—modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, even video editing and game creation. Blender can be used to make 3D printable models. More at:



FileZilla is an open source File Transfer Protocol Software (FTP). An FTP Client is a program designed to transfer files between two computers. While most web browsers support FTP file downloads, to upload files and to perform other FTP tasks a dedicated FTP Client is needed. By using an FTP Client users can upload, download, delete, rename, move and copy files on a remote server. More at:


    Google Chrome

Google Chrome is a web browser created by Google. Its features include synchronization with Google services and accounts, in-browser translation and spell check.


    Google Earth Pro

Google Earth is a geobrowser that accesses satellite and aerial imagery, ocean bathymetry, and other geographic data over the internet to represent the Earth as a three-dimensional globe. Geobrowsers are alternatively known as virtual globes or Earth browsers.

HTML-Kit is a proprietary HTML editor for Microsoft Windows made by The application is a full-featured HTML editor designed to edit, format, validate, preview and publish web pages in HTML, XHTML and XML -languages. More at:

    SPSS Statistics

SPSS Statistics is a software package used for interactive, or batched, statistical analysis. SPSS is a widely used program for statistical analysis in social science. It is also used by market researchers, health researchers, survey companies, government, education researchers, marketing organizations, data miners, and others. More at:

    Microsoft Office

Microsoft Office is a family of client software, server software, and services developed by Microsoft. Microsoft office includes Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Access, and OneNote.


    Mozilla Firefox

Mozilla Firefox is a free and open-source web browser developed by Mozilla Foundation.



Notepad++ is a text editor and source code editor for use with Microsoft Windows. It supports tabbed editing, which allows working with multiple open files in a single window. More at:



Panopto is a recording software for lecture recording, screencasting, video streaming and has built in video content management and editing. More at:



PuTTY is a free and open-source terminal emulator, serial console and network file transfer application. It supports several network protocols, including SCP, SSH, Telnet, rlogin, and raw socket connection. It can also connect to a serial port. More at:

Python is an interpreted high-level programming language for general-purpose programming. Python includes IDLE. IDLE is an integrated development environment for Python bundled with the default implementation of the language. More at:

R is a free software environment for statistical computing and graphics. More at:


    VLC Media Player

VLC media Player is a free open-source multimedia player and streaming server capable of handling and viewing various digital video, audio, and photo formats. More at:



WinDjView is a free open source DjVu viewer for Windows. It uses the free DjVuLibre library to decode DjVu documents. DjVu is a computer file format designed primarily to store scanned documents, especially those containing a combination of text, line drawings, indexed color images, and photographs. More at:



Zotero is a free, open-source research tool that helps you collect, organize, and analyze research and share it in a variety of ways. Zotero includes the ability to store author, title, and publication fields and to export that information as formatted references in addition to the ability to organize, tag, and search citations in advanced ways.
