Library Hours and Operations during Fall Quarter 2021
The Tioga Library Building (TLB) will open September 20. The Snoqualmie (SNO) Building will remain CLOSED during Fall Quarter 2021. Construction for the Learning Commons project prevents us from safely opening during this time.
The TLB will be open our usual interim hours until classes begin on Wednesday September 29.
Return books to the exterior backdrop (accessible from the C-Street turnaround by Gillenwater Plaza) or to the interior bookdrop, just inside the TLB.
Returning Laptops, Calculators, or other Equipment
Laptops and calculators should NOT be returned in any book return. Please return library equipment in person to our TLB desk. Equipment can be returned at a curbside appointment.
Overdue fines accrued between March 6th, 2020 and the first day of Fall Quarter will be cancelled. Overdue fines will resume the first day of the fall quarter. Fines accrued before March 6, 2020, can be paid online
Please note: In-person services may be limited initially - we very much appreciate your continued support and patience. Any status updates will be posted on the Library website.
UW Libraries System Status Updates
For more information about the UW Libraries Seattle re-opening plans please see their status updates. Included in the August blog posting is information about our tri-campus Libraries preparations for re-opening, including the HathiTrust Emergency Temporary Access Service (ETAS) Deactivation. The HathiTrust Emergency Temporary Access Service provided access to over 1 million online resources while Libraries were closed. When the UW Libraries reopens that access will be turned off, per HathiTrust requirements.
