Inspired by Gary Milgard and his belief that students should be able to represent themselves professionally led to the creation of the Milgard Center for Leadership & Social Responsibility Professionalism Week.
Professionalism Week components include a professional networking workshop, a LinkedIn workshop and an etiquette dinner with the goal of helping students build the skill sets they need to represent themselves.
In the second Milgard Business Talks series video, host Kelsey Parks interviews Joe Lawless, Executive Director of the Milgard Center for Leadership & Social Responsibility, who explains how Professionalism Week came about and his advice for students.
