Welcome to the Milgard School of Business at the University of Washington Tacoma.
Perhaps like me, the more familiar you become with the Milgard School and University of Washington Tacoma, the more impressed you will be that Milgard provides access to remarkable academic opportunities, a comfortable place for learning, deep connections to business and community alike, and, collaboration with others who are friendly, enthusiastic, intellectually curious and fun.
Milgard School of Business is housed at the epicenter of Tacoma’s and the Pacific Northwest’s cultural and economic growth, making it the perfect place to dream in a big way about your future. At Milgard, you can become a leader who makes a notable difference in the world. That is the Milgard goal: enable our degree and non-degree program graduates to stand out for their ability to deliver distinctive results here at home or around the globe.
It isn’t difficult to be drawn toward the Milgard School’s bright possibilities. Since the Business program was established in 1994, this young School has been exceeding expectations while attaining independent accreditation by the prestigious AACSB International earlier this year. Nonetheless, faculty, staff and executive advisors to the School are not content with slowing down. We are pursuing a new set of bold initiatives in business education that signal the Milgard School as a center for enlightened thinking, sustainable economics, and highly responsive action…qualities essential for challenging times ahead.
Unrestrained by historical precedents requiring students to be taught in centuries-old ways, and, instead dancing lightly with a free-spirit to modern business education rhythms, the Milgard School of Business offers success to those who want to think creatively, passionately and rigorously.
Please join us in this quest.
