Tom Rochat is proof that anything is possible, that life is full of twists and turns. A construction worker by trade, Rochat lost his job during the financial collapse of 2008. He eventually found a job working apartment maintenance. While on the job he suffered a severe knee injury that forced him to rethink his career. A lifelong interest in computers lead him to enroll at UW Tacoma and the Institute of Technology. While in school he picked mushrooms to pay his tuition and other expenses. He graduated in 2013 and now works for a global IT company. See the rest of Tom's incredible story here: http://www.washington.edu/boundless/tacoma-transformation/
