New Student Enrollment & Orientation Fee (NSEOF)

Accepted Students

As a new undergraduate student, to accept your offer of admission to the University of Washington Tacoma, a non-refundable new student enrollment and orientation fee (NSEOF) of $100 is required.  This fee will be used for programs benefiting new students and will confirm your intention to enroll at UW Tacoma.

As a new graduate student, to accept your offer of admission to the University of Washington Tacoma, a non-refundable Enrollment Confirmation Deposit (ECD) is required.

TO ACCEPT your offer and pay your non-refundable $100 New Student Enrollment and Orientation Fee online

For those who prefer to pay by cash, you can pay in person to the Cashier's Office (CAR400):

Location: 1551 Broadway, The Carlton Center, 4th Floor.

However, please note that only CASH payments will be accepted at the Cashier's Office.  Payments by credit card or check must be made online. 

TO DECLINE your offer of admission to the University of Washington Tacoma, use the online NSEOF tool to submit your decision.

Undergraduate students can request a deferral of the New Student Enrollment and Orientation Fee.

Graduate Students Paying the Enrollment Confirmation Deposit

As a new graduate student, to accept your offer of admission to the University of Washington Tacoma, you must pay an Enrollment Confirmation Deposit online by credit card or webcheck. You will not be able to register for classes until your ECD is on your student record. Call Student Fiscal Services at 206-543-4694 or email sfshelp@uw.edu with questions.

Paying with scholarship check, voucher, employer or government agency payment

If the scholarship, employer or government agency is also paying your full tuition as well as your NSEOF, request a deferment of the fee through the process listed on the Office of the Registrar's webpage. As a graduate student paying the ECD, please submit these payments directly to Student Fiscal Services either by mail to:
