Re-Enrollment Information for UW Tacoma Returning Students
If you were previously enrolled at UW Tacoma as an undergraduate student and wish to re-enroll, you are required to submit a Returning Student Application and pay the $60 application fee by the application deadline to be re-admitted. Students who have not been enrolled for more than one quarter (not including summer) are considered returning students.
You must return to the same academic program/major you were enrolled in when you left. If you wish to apply to another major, you may do so after readmission by submitting a change of major form. Should you apply to return and be unable to attend that quarter, you will need to re-apply for a future quarter.
Applications for re-admission are accepted up to two weeks prior to the start of the requested quarter of admission.
Graduate students who wish to re-enroll should contact their program advisor and the Graduate School for assistance.
Petitioning for Reinstatement
An former UW Tacoma student who has been dropped for low scholarship and has not attended the university for two or more of the previous quarters will be readmitted to the university only at the discretion of the pre-major reinstatement committee or if in a major, the student’s academic program.
Newly Re-admitted Requirements
Immunization Requirements - Students that did not submit Measles (Rubeola), Mumps and, if you are under the age of 22 - a Meningicocal immunization, records when they attended previously will need to submit proof of immunization for measles to the Office of the Registrar, prior to being able to register for classes. For information about immunizations, see the Immunization Requirements page for more information about what is required. If you have previously supplied immunization records when you previously attended UW Tacoma, you most likely, not need to re-submit them again. Registration Dates - Re-admitted (returning) UW Tacoma students may register for classes during Registration Period II. Prior to your registration date you should check your registration eligibility to verify that you do not have any registration restrictions that will not allow you to register for classes when your registration period begins.
Husky Card - If you do not have a "smart card" Husky ID card, or no longer have your ID card, you will may get a new Husky ID card from the Office of the Registrar, please email us at email@example.com to inquire about how to get a new card.
