The Minor in Global Engagement (25-28 credits) offers an interdisciplinary curriculum that integrates theory with practice. It connects students to the places and communities they are studying through community-engaged seminars. The Minor in Global Engagement is open to all UW Tacoma students. Students enrolling in the Minor avail of the benefits of the Global Honors Program: a small faculty to student ratio, funded experiential learning opportunities, and a close-knit community. Emphasis is on the development of critical thinking, writing, research and leadership skills.
