Networking is important, even early on in your undergraduate education. You might even get a job related to the career you want. Hey, if you are going to work while you study, why not work in your area of interest? You can network in many different ways:

Mentoring programs

Volunteer opportunities

Civic organizations

  • City Club of Tacoma - City Club’s programs provide an opportunity to get together with other civic-minded people within our community that you may not see at other "networking" events. The club regularly welcomes leaders and dignitaries on issues affecting the arts, business, education, the environment, human services, law and justice, the media, the military, philanthropy, politics, and more.
  • Rotary Club - Rotary is an international  organization whose purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian services, to encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and to advance goodwill and peace around the world.
