Laptops & Tablets Available for Checkout

SPRING 2020 - Installing software on Library computers

Students who have one of the Library laptops and need software to complete their coursework should contact libraryithelp@uw.edu. Library staff will evaluate requests on a case-by-case basis and decide if we are legally allowed to download and install the software requested.

What is available?

The University of Washington Tacoma Library has a growing collection of laptops and tablets available for checkout:

  • Surface Pro Tablets (12)
  • MacBook Air Laptops (13)
  • Dell Tablets (6)

Who can check it out?

All Laptops and Tablets: Students Only


    Where do you check it out?

    All equipment is available for checkout in the Snoqualmie Library Building at the circulation desk. To inquire about the availability of our equipment please call the Snoqualmie Circulation Desk at (253) 692-4349. 


    When is it due?

    Available for 3 day checkout.

    All laptops and tablets are due back 72 hours after the time of checkout. Note that if an item is checked out it is due back by the EXACT time that it was checked out unless the library is not open at that time in which case the due date will be extended to the opening hour on the next available date.
