COACHE for Faculty

COACHE logotypeThe Office of Academic Affairs is committed to facilitating the full examination of findings of the faculty survey. This will involve creating events and venues designed to allow the faculty community access to analysis and planning events that allow integration of the ideas targeted to addressing solutions to issues identified by faculty in the survey as problem areas or concerns.


If you are interested in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, other healthcare fields, you can complete any UW Tacoma undergraduate degree and many prerequisites required of the professional program in which you are interested.

Freshman Core Program

Freshmen are required to connect with their assigned advisor at least once every quarter during their first year at UW Tacoma. During their first year, freshmen take 20 academic credits (four classes) through the Core Program. Students will work with their assigned academic advisor to register for these classes. An advising hold will be placed on student accounts and in order to register for classes, freshmen students are required to connect with their assigned academic advisor. Our Community

UW Tacoma enjoys a close relationship with the South Puget Sound community. From its very beginning, civic-minded leaders have supported the university and helped bring it to fruition. Today this symbiotic partnership results in many connections between UW Tacoma faculty, staff and students working together with government agencies, business groups and non-profit organizations.

TLC Hours

June 17 - 23: Closed for the interim

Summer Quarter hours: (6/24 - 8/23)
Monday - Thursday: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The TLC will be closed on: 
6/13 - Early closing at 5 pm
6/14 - Commencement

7/4 - Independence Day holiday
