Education & Research Partners

The Center of Business Analytics at the Milgard School of Business co-creates value with faculty and researchers in five primary ways. Faculty and researchers can partner with the CBA for student education, executive and professional development programs, advisory board/corporate partnership and problem-focused research. The CBA is also working on a Virtual Digital Transformation and E-learning lab that offers resources for professional development.

Funding Opportunities

Where to Start?

Funding a college education takes careful planning and often requires tapping a variety of financial resources.  Some good places to start on campus would be the UWT Office of Financial Aid and the Office of Student Fellowships and Awards, where experts can assist you with financial aid, scholarship, and fellowship options that may be open to you.

On this page, we will provide links to funding opportunities that may be especially relevant to Undergraduate students at UWT.

Job Opportunities

The TLC accepts applications for student employees through Handshake. The writing center usually hires the majority of students to begin working in autumn quarter, though we accept applications year-round. We are always accepting applications for quantitative tutors. If you are ready to learn and grow through working at the Teaching & Learning Center as either a consultant in writing, math, science, or computer science, or as a receptionist, we'd like to hear from you.

Policies

Access to Services

The Teaching and Learning Center offers its services to all UW students, with priority given to currently enrolled UW Tacoma students. Students who use the TLC facilities and services are expected to follow the UW's Student Conduct Code. TLC staff may ask users to leave if they create conditions that impede the work of students or staff.
