Pre-Health

If you are interested in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, other healthcare fields, you can complete any UW Tacoma undergraduate degree and many prerequisites required of the professional program in which you are interested.

Freshman Core Program

Freshmen are required to connect with their assigned advisor at least once every quarter during their first year at UW Tacoma. During their first year, freshmen take 20 academic credits (four classes) through the Core Program. Students will work with their assigned academic advisor to register for these classes. An advising hold will be placed on student accounts and in order to register for classes, freshmen students are required to connect with their assigned academic advisor. Students will need to plan ahead and connect (e.g.

TLC Hours

June 17 - 23: Closed for the interim

Summer Quarter hours: (6/24 - 8/23)
Monday - Thursday: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The TLC will be closed on: 
6/13 - Early closing at 5 pm
6/14 - Commencement

7/4 - Independence Day holiday
